Here I am on a new Blog Site
So, I have been searching for a new blog site, and this is the one I have chosen. I have spent most of the day and evening researching and working on more ways to promote my shop. Sorry I haven't blogged for a while, but I hope that as things slow down a bit that I will be able to do that more frequently. I wrote for 20 minutes earlier and accidentally erased all of it, so I am not going to do it again, sorry. You will hear from me soon! And please be patient still as this one is still under contruction... :O)
Hello world!
Okay so this was originally posted on my first blog site, which proved not to have all of the options I was looking for. It was posted on October 2, 2009 and here's what it said...
I am attempting to learn a lot about things I don’t know right now! So, I am posting my very first post on my new blog, learning twitter, starting my own shop, designing banners and avatars, and working with entering my information in search engines all at the same time. I must admit I am a little overwhelmed! So, bare with me as this whole process takes shape please. Thanks for understanding!
I am Nicole, most people I know well call me Nikki and of course to my 2 children, I am mom. I have been married for 11 years and we have one son, almost 8 and a daughter who is 5 and 1/2 (and to any 5 year old, you know how important that 1/2 of a year is!) Right now we are overwhelmed with school and sports – we are officially at that point I guess. We are currently involved in dance, soccer, and football, and I will update you as the seasons change. Today both kids played in the cold and rain and both did well, although we did have to separate today to divide and conquer.
I have been scrapbooking since my son was born and I am so addicted to it! I started making other things a couple of years ago for a craft christmas show and have been hooked ever since! Since my daughter started all day, every day kindergarten this year, I have some extra time on my hands to create some more. This lead me to etsy, where I researched a bit and decided to open my own shop and hope to earn some income doing something I love.
So, if you have never heard of etsy, go check it out and register for an account. It doesn’t take anything to sign up and it’s a great place to do your Holiday shopping. And of course, please check out my new shop at:
www.ScrappingCreations@etsy.com
Right now I currently have some “old” stuff up and it’s all on clearance (who doesn’t like a good sale?) Please check back often because as soon as some of those items are cleared out, I will have some space to create some new items that I am truly excited about making!
So, help me clear out the old to make way for the new. Of course if I know you and you are local, shipping costs would not apply. Thanks for taking the time to read my first post and I hope you enjoy my new shop and visit it frequently!
